We bought Gem in 2005 in foal to Ancan True Colors.
She is bay with classic Morgan conformation. She has a very expressive head. She is a very easy to handle and confident mare. She passes those traits to her foals.
Gem is trained both under saddle and in harness but is no longer in work.
She had a brief but successful show career in the US including in breeding classes.
Gem has produced wonderful foals, including our stallion Expat's Regimental Colors, that have true Morgan versatility, looks and disposition.
She is a gem of a broodmare. |

Angie is a stunning very dark bay
2004 mare. She is proof that good genes don’t lie. Her sire, multi-titled Ultras Special Agent, needs no
introduction and neither does her maternal grand sire, Tedwin Topic.
She has a huge flowing trot and is not afraid to use it.
We use to joke that Angie was too beautiful to be smart. Overnight, she stopped being our resident
airhead and turned into a responsible mother. Having her first foal, Expat’s Show Off, made her not only beautiful but also smart!
|
|
We have taken Angie to a number of promotional events and
she loves to be in front of the crowds. The more they clap,
the more she calls out and shows off. We will be breaking
Angie to saddle in the spring of 2010. We can only hope that
she will feel under saddle like she feels when you show her
in hand. |

Cricket is a 1995 black mare. She is powerfully built yet elegant.
Looking at her you can clearly see why the US Army wanted Morgan horses for its officers: she can go on all day
a large man on her back and look good doing it. Cricket is trained to ride western and English. She is a quick
learner and a very comfortable horse to ride. She is very reliable and has carried many visiting beginners
on the trails, including our friend and first time rider Ben across the Waterloo battlefield.
Cricket had her first foal in 2009: a lovely bay filly who promises to be as great a ride as her dam. |

We bought Neon in 2006 to add some spark to our breeding program.
She was bred to be a park mare with her high paces, long neck and showy attitude. She has the sweetest face and her eyes seem almost human.
She is bright chestnut and with a lot of chrome.
Neon is first and foremost Scott's mare. She adores him and would do anything for him. He rides her on the trails and hops
on bareback to fetch other horses from the back pastures.
In 2009 Neon produced her first foal, Expat's Light Brigade, a buckskin filly by Expat's Regimental Colors. |

Anne imported Tosca from Michigan in 2005. She will forever but special to us as she arrived on our farm on the day we first met.
She got her stable name as soon as we saw her have a true prima donna style tantrum
in the barn, complete with kicks, stomps and rolls, to get our attention.
Tosca is bay with very unusual white markings on her face. She has classic hunter type.
Tosca comes from a distinguished line of champions including her half-brother, world champion Key Biscayne.
Tosca is the alpha mare in our herd and has been ever since she came to us as a yearling.
We broke Tosca to saddle in 2007. She is a delight to ride and her confident personality
makes her great fun on the trails. We are planning to show her under saddle in 2010.
Tosca gave us, Expat's I am a Diva, a filly foal out of Expat's Regimental Colors in 2009.
Diva is already the alpha filly among our 2009 foals, like mother like daughter.

Sea Star came to us in 2006 in foal to HVK Navigator.
She is a chestnut mare with great conformation and plenty of movement.
She is by Ultimate Creation and brings wonderful Trophy blood to our program.
Sea Star successfully competed in park and pleasure classes at both World Championships and Grand
Nationals.
She has been trained to ride and drive.
She is the easiest mare you could imagine to own and handle.
Sea Star is the perfect broodmare: she settles and foals easily and produces amazing foals. She
has given us Expat's Commodore JP Jones by HVK Navigator and Expat's Patriot and Expat's Super Star both by Ancan Kodachrome. All three of
them have great conformation and movement to match their look-at-me attitude and spark.

Bailey is a 2000 brown mare. She was successfully shown in hand as a youngster.
Out of a Tedwin Topic daughter, we did not hesitate when the opportunity arose to purchase her.
Bailey is powerfully built with a classically beautiful head. She has plenty of movement and is very feminine.
She has given us 2 dark and handsome colts: Expat's Lead from the Front
in 2007 and Expat's Great Expectation in 2009. She is in foal to Anacn Kodachrome for a 2010 baby.
Bailey is a reliable trail ride but gets back in her show horse persona at the first request.
She is a great fan of massages and will bang on her stable door if you don't give her the attention she thinks she deserves.
Bailey's personality and her gentleness make her a favorite around the barn.

Tiki is a 2002 very dark bay mare. She has extremely animated and elevated paces as well wonderfully laid back shoulders.
Tiki is all show horse in her breeding. While her ability as a show horse is clear we have found that she is happier is a
less stressful environment. She has found her place in the herd and has become very affectionate. Tiki had her first foal,
Expat’s Charlie’s Company, in 2009. He is a very elegant black colt
with the most gorgeous head.

We bought Birdie in Texas in 2006. She is a bay, show type Morgan.
She is trained to ride English and western as well to drive alone or in a pair.
Birdie successfully competed in hand, under saddle and in harness including at the Grand
Nationals.
She is equally fun to ride out on the trails as to compete. She is personality of contrasts:
in the herd she is very bossy and in charge, but around people you could not ask for a more gentle and kind mare.
Birdie has a classically beautiful head, the great conformation that you would expect from her
breeding and of course lovely animated paces.
Birdie had her first foal in 2009. She gave us a lovely filly, Expat's Early Bird, that shows much promise as a sports horse.

Cassie is a 2008 buckskin filly. She was the first filly we bred.
She is bred to be a sports horse with style.
Cassie is the picture of confidence. As a weanling she participated
in shows to promote the Morgan bred in Belgium and already enjoyed being walked on the trails.
We showed Cassie for the first time at the German Morgan Horse Association anniversary
show in July 2009 and she won the national yearling filly title.
The best way to describe Cassie's personality is to say "No Nonsense".
We have yet to find a thing Cassie doesn't understand first time around. She is incredibly curious and brave.

Cass is a 2009 bay filly. She is a full
sister to Expat’s Cassandra and like her sister is unflappable. In addition, she demonstrates a lot of
talent for showing off. She never has a moment’s doubt about her own importance and can’t imagine
not being admired by all. Already as a tiny foal she would look around to make sure that she had
an audience before trotting around, tail flagging and ears forward. She could show a few of our
older horses how to model! She is beautifully conformed and loves to interact with people.
We are looking forward to competing Cass and expect her to enjoy the attention very much.

Libby is a 2009 buckskin filly.
Libby was eagerly awaited and will be always be special to us. Anne spent the better part of 10 nights in the stables with Neon, waiting for what we feared could be a difficult foaling. Neon had injured herself towards the end of her pregnancy and was very weak after Libby was born. As a result, mama and baby lived on our back patio for TLC for most of the summer 2009. Libby more than once ventured in our dining room through the French doors. She is a very pretty and feminine mare with a disposition to die for. She looks and moves very much like her dam but without a doubt has gotten Reggie’s “Don’t worry be happy” attitude. We will be keeping Libby for our breeding program and can hardly wait to see her grow up.
